Collection of Information
The type of products or services provided by Simple Retail or requested by you, will determine the type of information we collect. We may collect information including your name and occupation, the name of your business, your contact details (address, email, phone and facsimile numbers), signature and financial information for billing purposes.
We collect information in a number of different ways including from you directly when you enquire about our products and services, register your interest on our Site, purchase items in our online store on our Site, complete a survey or book a demonstration. We also may collect information through our Site and electronic communications, from third parties such as our related entities and through publicly available sources. During the course of our relationship with you, we may also gather information relating to how you use our products and/or services.
Use of information
Your information is used to verify your identity, billing you for our products and/or services and providing you with our products and/or our services including delivery, installation and ongoing software support. Your information is also used to help us form views about how we can improve our relationship with you, the services we offer you and the development of our existing or new products and services.
We may also provide your information to our related entities so they can inform you of products, services and special offers which we think may be of interest to you, unless you tell us not to.
Security of Information
We store your information in a number of different ways including hard copy and electronic forms. We take reasonable steps to protect your information from loss, unauthorised access or misuse. Personal information is stored in a secure office requiring key and alarm code entry. Electronic documents require an individualised login and password and hard copy documents are securely locked away.
Disclosure of Information
There may be times when we need to disclose your information to third party external service providers including couriers, associated IT companies, hardware providers, mailing houses and billing or debt recovery agents. We will disclose your information on your request to your authorised agents, various Government agencies or any person with whom you consent your information being provided to.
We may also disclose de-identified versions of such information to selected third parties for the research and marketing purposes of those third parties.
Accessing your Information
You can request access to and correct the personal information we hold about you at any time and we will process your request within a reasonable time.
